Patagonia Lake is at an elevation of 3,760 feet in Patagonia Lake State Park.

The lake has 260 surface acres. Patagonia lake is maintained and owned by Arizona State Parks.

The lake was created by damming up Sonoita Creek and is 2.5 miles long and is tucked into the rolling grasslands of Sonoita Valley..

Largemouth bass are available to the angler. Other species found in the lake are channel catfish, crappie or bluegill.
