BoatUS Registration Banquet Goes Above and Beyond Anglers Expectations

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – After the final day of practice for the 10th Anniversary BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Presented by Cabela's, anglers were treated to a night of free sponsor gear, seminars from the legends of the sport, and a free meal presented by BoatUS! The registration banquet took place at the Marriott Conference Center in Florence, Alabama.

As many anglers walked in to the conference center with shoulders shrugged after four back-to-back days of practice on Lake Pickwick, moods were soon lightened when anglers saw the conference room lined with the great lineup of sponsors of the Cabela's Collegiate Bass Fishing Series waiting to give away thousands of dollars worth of gear.

The following sponsors were present at the 10th Anniversary Registration Banquet and gave anglers product that will help them exceed on and off the water when it comes to the sport of bass fishing: Cabela's, BoatUS, TowBoatUS, Ranger Boats, Yamaha Marine, Garmin, RAM Trucks, Costa, Berkley, Sebile, Abu Garcia, Big Bite Baits, Power Pole, Yum, BOOYAH, Gill North America, Sqwincher, SPRO, Lucas Oil, Gemini, Mustang Survival, HydroWave, Sunline, Arctic Ice, Sure Life, Gemini Jerseys, Temple Fork Outfitters, and Florence/Lauderdale Tourism.

Anglers were also treated to guest appearances from two of the greats in the sport of college fishing, Ranger Boats' founder Forrest Wood and Hank Parker. Anglers listened with full focus as the two living legends recounted stories about their fishing careers and how to succeed in life on and off the water. Anglers were able to meet and greet the duo as well and get their brand new Ranger Boats hats signed as well.

The last part of the evening brought more excitement as anglers were given an opportunity to win even more free gear in a raffle, including prizes such as HydroWaves, Engel Coolers, Temple Fork Outfitters' Rods, Arctic Ice, and Mustang Lifejackets. After the raffle, anglers were presented their boat number and a $50 American Express Gift Card presented by BoatUS' Chris Edmonston, for anglers to purchase anything of their choosing, whether it be gas, food, or last minute tackle for the tournament.

Anglers left the event with shoulders held high, smiles on their faces, and determination to fish to their absolute best abilities in the morning in Day 1 of the 10th Anniversary BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Presented by Cabela's.
