Online applications being accepted now; doors scheduled to open fall 2015 SIDNEY, Neb. – Cabela's is now accepting online applications for approximately 180 full-time, part-time and seasonal positions at its new Huntsville, Ala., store.
"This staff will have the opportunity and privilege of being a part of the first Cabela's store to open in Alabama," said Steven Smith, general manager of the new store. "Both Cabela's and the community are excited for this grand opening, and we are looking to build a great staff to share in that excitement."

The 82,000-square-foot store is scheduled for a fall 2015 opening.
It is located at 7090 Cabela Drive NW near the intersection of Interstate 565 and 255.
The store is built in Cabela's new-format layout, designed to offer customers an immersive outdoor experience with log construction, stonework, dozens of wildlife displays and museum-quality taxidermy mounts, vintage outdoor photos and memorabilia, hand-painted murals and an indoor archery range. Additionally, the store will include a cafe, fudge shop, boat shop, Gun Library, Bargain Cave and Cabela's Wildlife and Land Management product offering, along with thousands of quality outdoor products. Furthermore, the store will host educational seminars and demonstrations, offering tips and insights on outdoor products and activities.
