RICHMOND, Calif. –The River2Sea USA pro team grows as Bassmaster Elite Series pro Chris Lane of Guntersville, Ala., signs with the California-based lure company.
Fishing professionally since 2000, Lane has enjoyed much success throughout his career. He is a seven-time B.A.S.S winner and has earned six appearances at the Bassmaster Classic, claiming the Classic title in 2012 on the Red River in Shreveport, La.
Lane is known in B.A.S.S. circles for his positive outlook and his commitment to his community by giving back through a variety of organizations and hosting an annual youth fishing camp.
The River2Sea lineup – specifically their topwater concepts – are something that drew Lane to the brand. “That Whopper Plopper is really an amazing bait that attracts unbelievable strikes,” he said. “I am excited to be a part of the River2Sea family, because of the type and quality of baits that they have come out with and I am looking forward to working together on new baits as well.”
Simon Chan, CEO of River2Sea USA is also eager to begin the joint venture and development of innovative products to add to their pro signature series. “Chris brings a lot of experience on many fisheries across the country to our research and design,” said Chan. “His understanding of the sport, the industry and his great attitude will make him the perfect addition to the River2Sea team.”
