December 2015 – Leading automotive tire manufacturer, General Tire, recently announced its support of the Wild West Bass Trail (WWBT) as the company committed to sponsor the trail’s Pro/Am and team tournament events for the 2016 season. The announcement was made less than a month prior to the January 16, 2016 WWBT Pro/Am tournament start on Lake Pleasant, Arizona.
“General Tire is a fantastic addition to the WWBT team,” explained trail cofounder Matt Morgan. “They are internationally-recognized for producing high quality, specialty tires for light trucks and sport utility vehicles. Our anglers travel thousands of miles each year with a boat under tow, and recognize the
importance of utilizing high performance tires. General Tire has been in business for over a century, so they know what they are doing. We’re very excited to partner with them this upcoming season!” Said Travis Roffler, Director of Marketing for General Tire, “The Wild West Bass Trail provides us the opportunity to strengthen our brand among many loyal bass anglers throughout the west. Our Grabber line of light truck tires, including the Grabber UHP, Grabber HTS, Grabber AT2 and Red Letter Grabber series, shines in towing applications, and we are very much looking forward to sharing the features and benefits of these great tires with both participating anglers and fans.”
Roffler encouraged anglers wanting to learn more about General Tire’s Grabber line to browse the company website: www.generaltire.com. Offering professional-level competition throughout the west, the Wild West Bass Trail provides its anglers with the opportunity to further develop and advance their fishing careers. Additionally, the WWBT offers its corporate partners the opportunity to expand sales through comprehensive national and regional television coverage, exclusive on-the-water demonstrations, and various tournament incentive programs.
