Navionics Renews Partnership with Texas Team Trail

Sponsorship includes custom contingency program at all 2016 events

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. – Navionics, the leader in content and location-based services for the recreational boating and outdoor markets, has re-joined the Texas Team Trail (TXTT) as an official sponsor for the 2016 season. The agreement includes the return of their popular contingency program designed to reward anglers for creating custom sonar logs at each event.

Beginning with the 2016 season kick-off on Sam Rayburn, the first five teams that pre-fish and turn in logs on an SD card will receive a bonus free Navionics+ chart, a retail value of $199 each. Anglers are encouraged to visit www.Navionics.com for directions on how to record logs or use SonarCharts Live based on their current plotter choice.

"Navionics has been a strong partner for us and we're excited to have their support again in 2016," said TXTT Tournament Director Mike Hastings. "Registrations for the upcoming season are on record pace and it's due in large part to the caliber of companies we're partnered with and real angler benefits like the Navionics contingency program. We can't wait to kick things off on Sam Rayburn."

Founded in 1984, Navionics offers the world's largest database of charts and systems for marine, inland lakes and rivers and outdoor use. Navionics charts have become synonymous with successful tournament fishing, providing incredibly detailed images to help identify underwater structure and productive fish habitat. Navionics charts are compatible with most leading chartplotter brands, in addition to the popular Boating app, which is available on phone, tablet and PC.
"We strive to deliver products and technologies designed to give the best, immediate, and most recent data," said Navionics National Sales Manager Paul Michele. "Working with the TXTT is the perfect platform to showcase our efforts and interact with a very avid group of great fishermen. We're excited about this continued partnership, offering an educational contingency program, and look forward to the upcoming season."

The tournament circuit, designed exclusively for team competition, will begin the 2016 season Jan. 30 on Sam Rayburn Reservoir. The schedule includes four qualifying events, plus a year-end championship on Ray Roberts Lake, May 14 – 15.
