New Video Communications Department at Yamaha Marine Group

KENNESAW, GA -- Yamaha Marine Group announced today it has created a new Marine Video Communications Department within the Marine Marketing Division. The purpose of the department is to expand all outboard video communications, improve the reach of education and training materials and grow the presence of the Yamaha Marine brand.

The team will create videos for dealers, boat builders and consumers, supporting all Yamaha Marine Divisions including Sales, Service, Marketing, Product Development, Training and Operations. Examples of the videos to be produced include product walk-arounds, maintenance and how-to videos, product user manuals and live-event feeds.

"Technology is always changing, and so are the needs of Yamaha audiences. Short videos have become more important tools for communication and learning, particularly as people turn to hand-held devices for much of the information they consume," said Martin Peters, Senior Manager, Communications, Yamaha Marine Group. "Our new in-house team, equipped with the latest camera and production technology, will allow us to swiftly create information, training and education for our dealers, boat builders and consumers."

Bradley Massey leads the new Video Communications Department, assuming the role of Video Production Manager. Massey has more than 17 years of experience as an editor and producer with Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta. He oversees a team of two production specialists, and he is responsible for the production of all video assets designed to educate and excite both internal and external Yamaha Marine audiences. Massey reports to Martin Peters, Senior Communications Manager, Yamaha Marine Group.

David Crowther and Murphy Thelen have joined Yamaha Marine as Video Production Specialists and report to Bradley Massey. Crowther and Thelen are responsible for hands-on creation of all studio and on-location production, in addition to script writing, video editing and coordination of video distribution. Collectively, they have 13 years of video production experience.
