State Fish Art Contest for Students Ends March 31

The State-Fish Art Contest, sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, uses art to ignite kid's imagination while teaching them about fish and fishing. Students across the United States and around the world have the opportunity to win awards and national recognition while learning about a state-fish species, its behaviors, aquatic habitat and conservation.

"The contest brings aquatic conservation not only to students but also to their teachers and families" remarks Bob Ziehmer, Senior Director of Conservation at Bass Pro Shops.

This year's distinguished panels of judges will select the 2018 National Winners the day after Earth Day.  The national and state winners will be announced Wednesday, May 9, 2017 and displayed on the State-Fish Art website. (Art: largemouth bass by Alyssa D., 9th Grade, Oregon)
