Richmond, CA - October 10, 2012 - In an
effort to further promote brand recognition and take advantage of the exposure
possibilities of working with one of the premier anglers in the sport.
River2Sea has agreed to become the title sponsor of Ish Monroe for the 2012 FLW
Tour events.
Monroe, who is one of the busiest anglers in the sport, decided to pursue both tours when the opportunity became available after FLW released a schedule void of conflicts. While Monroe is branded with his familiar light blue wrap for the Bassmaster Elite Series, he had the option of a different package for the additional tour level events, and River2Sea decided to take advantage of his availability.
"I'm really happy
to be doing more to help further expose the River2Sea brand to the
industry," Monroe said. "They are a great partner, they produce great
baits, as we have proven with my Biggie series crankbaits and Bling
spinnerbaits, and the expanded FLW Tour coverage allows me to further show the
brand to anglers across the country."
River2Sea CEO K.K.
Chan also liked the chance to promote. "Ish has been, and continues to be,
a great asset to River2Sea in his tireless work and skill as an angler and
promoter," said Chan. "But, more importantly, he has become a true
partner of this brand and using him to further push River2Sea in the
marketplace was an easy decision."
Monroe will feature
the black, red and white branding on his 2013 FLW Tour schedule. The branding
will include the wrap on his 2013 FLW Tour Ranger / Yamaha package, his FLW
Tour jersey and his cap that will be worn on all competition days of the six FLW
Tour majors in 2013 FLW Tour competition. His Elite Series package will remain
with his current popular branding.
This move forward with
Monroe, along with the partnership with Scott Martin, the Scott Martin
Challenge television show, Elite Series pro John Murray, Jarrett Edwards
Outdoors television The Hunt for Big fish with Larry Dahlberg and the recent
addition of bass fishing legend Tommy Biffle has helped push River2Sea further ahead in
the consciousness of the angling public.
Look for River2Sea on
television, the pro tours and in fishing tackle retailers across the country.
