It was only a matter of time before Aaron earned the coveted trophy.

The Final weigh in was very exciting. It was unbelievable but they showed an excerpt on the Jumbotron of Aaron's first fish and it came by way of crank bait sitting on side of the boat on the surface while he was "fittling" with his trolling motor.

I tell you though Marty Stone is a very gracious person. It was very cool to see. Martens was actually leading until Hack came up. You should have heard the crowd though when they heard that VanDam blanked.

No doubt in my mind who the best in Professional fishing is!

Aaron entered the final Tour event in 6th place in the AOY standings trailing Marty Stone by 32 points, yet he was able to win the title with a 12 point margin. THAT is pressure under fire. When you consider that he won last year's U.S. Open and has two runner-up finishes in the BASSMASTER Classic (in the last four years), he is (IMHO) the best angler out there right now, bar none.

Congratulations my friend - you earned it!

That's awesome. Loved Aaron's comments about how he doesn't get help from people and he does things on his own. That's why he's going to start just completely dominating the Tour because he's off on his own, building his own set of water and techniques and not copycatting people. Awesome.
