any info on smallmouth in north delta

if anyone can help with info on the smallmouth bite in the n delta Id appreciate it. Haven't fished it in years and wanted to take my son up for the day to see what we can do. used to fish hogback around levee new rock a little later in the month so any help is appreciated.

Nothing has changed. There are still scads of smallies in that area. I like it up past Sutter slough but they're everywhere. A medium diving crankbait in a crawdad pattern and a pop r will keep you busy all day. They seem to be more active on hot days. Lots of little guys to sort through but its just fun easy fishing.
