No way that dude is showing his face at wrigley during the playoffs. That fool still has a target on his back 8) Our pitching and offense could match up with the best of them. 100 years is a long time, that champagne will be sweet in October baby

Yeah, in some ways it would be not nice to face you Halos in the series, your manager is your greatest asset. But it would be wonderful to see the Angels suction cup flags get taken off bandwagon vehicles with each passing dayin a long series w/ the Cubs. So many wandbagoners in the mix. The suction cups would be poppin like popcorn. National League baseball is pure baseball. American League is the indoor soccer, Canadian and Arena League F-ball league in one.. If da Cubs win I'll playin this tune here

well pure baseball has got its @$$es handed to them for 11 years straight in the all star game.. The curse of the goat still haunts you! Im not going to argue about the sudden uprising in 2002. However, I grew up in Anaheim and could see the stadium from my house ( that is until about 6 months when they built those d@mn condos). The Cubs have a strong team, really strong team but my really good friend is a Cubs fan and I plan on throwing him a Halo world series party/ Cubs cant win **** in 100 year party! 8)

I know there are hardcore Angels fans out there that follow their every move in the minors, watch every game, gameday on the computer. I was born on the northside of Chicago and have been a Cubs fan from as long as I remember being alive. But first and foremost I'm a fan of the game. I have to admit the angels are a solid team and could win it all... This is the year the Cubs have a chance though.

ps. sorry I kick you down any Angels tickets this season my source dried up w/ this econ

I got season tickets mang.. im good. Thanks for the thought. oh yeah ESPN Insider is my friend.. On a side not totatlly random, my best friend/brother his cousin that we grew up playing catch with in the front yard is currently the numer 1 prospect in the nation Chris Tillman.. he is currently in AA Baltimore. The kid is a friggin beast.. he will dominate the bigs soon.. Also we have a some awesome prospects, my favorite and Chris's good friend from travel ball in high school,Hank Conger. A power hitting catcher. If he stays healthy Scioscia will turn him into a masterpiece. Everyone knows we have great young pichting down there, that's a given. This kid stands out to me ( probably because i use to watch him catch Chris)

I read up on Tillman and he is monster. 6'5" 195 lbs. He will fill out and dominate. Conger I've heard about as a catching propect. The cubs farm is a little dry... Felix Pie a AAA CF was once a top 10 prospect but he cannot hit ML pitching yet. Great defender though. Most of the minor league studs are up w/ the big league team now. Geovany Soto is having an amazing year w/ the bat and calling games. We'll see what happens in the playoffs.

yeah since his freshman year we laugehd when Chris pitched. We all just prayed he stayed healthy and so far he has. you should see him throw live. We use to watch him at Fountain Valley all the time ( his hs) and its the kinda speed you just laugh at because the other team was so helpless. He always had a nasty offspeed pitch but when we talk to him on the phone now he said its got nastier and he is developing a really good change up. My little brother played little league against him too and was one of the only kids to get a hit off him all year!!! I just pray Chris stays healthy , he is a good kid with a great head on his shoulders... You should see the trophy tail he is getting already. We told him to stay away from the broads as much as he can, but he is only human. I remember when i got kicked out of my house ( use to be a wild one ) i went and stayed with my best friends family for a few weeks and everyday we would play catch with Chris and we knoew then he was special. He is the real deal.

I'm a die hard Angel fan. No ban wagon here, Born and raised in San fernando Valley. (Canoga Park) Been an Angel fan for my whole life 34 years. The days of jack Howell, Brian Downing, etc, etc. 17 years of not making the playoffs, and still watched, and listened to every game TV, and Radio. 2002 was a long time coming! Something i will never forget. It was special cause I had to wait so Long! The Angels owner Art? Hell yeah he stepped up, and got us what we needed to be a contender, and its about time. The Angels are young, and have one of the best farm systems in the majors!

Go Angels!

The Rays are playing good baseball right now. So are the Cubs. It's anybodies game once they are in the playoffs. I am just glad that we won our division again and we pretty much are a lock to make the playoffs. I like our style of baseball for October, we'll see what happens.

The yankees are nothing more than the Texas Rangers in pinstripes. One day Georgie will realize he needs some great pitching.

The Angels have the Yankees in their back pocket. They are no threat. It's sad that some of the final games being played at Yankee stadium where GREATS played and where GREATS won, are now being played out by a sorry sorry team. It almost makes me sad....almost.

John your angels have the best manager in the game and the
pitching also.

George has said they will win it next year, they're going after
CC for sure and I'm hearing Manny the best clutch hitter in the
game wants to be a Yankee next year. So your team better
get r done this year.....MG

George has been trying to buy number 27 for a while now. We will be good for years to come thanks to our ownership. We will be just fine. Arte stepped in and signed Vlad and lowered beer prices. The rest is history. He want's a ring and we will give him one.
