Congradulations to Brian and Kevin Linehan for bringing in the biggest limit (3 fish) for 15.43#. Fishing sure changed this week at DVL and was a little tougher for some. Brian and Kevin stuck with their plan and it paid off for $3,365.
This tournament being the final of 3 "regular" Night events for NBW at Diamond Valley Lake we really appreciate the support that the anglers give to us. We have averaged 63 teams for these night events.
Mike and I are so thankful that you have choosen to fish with us and also for the many friends that we have made running these events. We must give credit when credit is due. National Bass West's success at Diamond Valley Lake is in part due to the support and sponsorship of Dan and Megan Merchant, owners of Last Chance Bait and Tackle there is Hemet. Dan and Megan are first class people who run a first class tackle store. They, together with National Bass West strive to serve you all and make the events something that you all want to keep coming back to continue to support. Each and every angler is important to us!
We thank Megan, Matt and Gabe from Last ChanceBait and Tackle, Dale Riggert, Jeff Brewer, Jason Chang, David and Brandy Danel for helping us run a very smooth event. With 56 teams we weighed their bass, gave out the money, packed up and were ready to leave the parking lot by 3:15 a.m.
We all wish JEFF BREWER the very best in his new adventure in Lousiana. He is moving to Lousiana in a few weeks We will definately miss you, Jeff. We look forward to hearing many success stories and look forward to when you come back to visit us!
There is one more event at Diamond Valley Lake (August 27th) that we are running which is the ever so popular Last Chance Bait and Tackle's Customer Appreciation Event which has a basic entry of $40. You can bring ONE or TWO of your friends out for a night of nothing but fun. No stress, just catching big bass and bringing your one biggest bass to the scales. We will have several mystery weight options winners and mystery boat number winners which gets paid from the basic entry fee. The big bass option of $20 is paid out seperately to those that are in the option. If you have more than two people in the boat, you may not enter this option.
