looking for pro for won bass clear lake open to sign up with

Jigs have heavy cover written all over them. How many jigs should I lose in a typical day/outing to justify that I am using jigs correctly? I am a "die hard" jig nut and its my #1 confidence lure. I lose about 1-2 on a good day. 3-4 on a bad day. Just trying to see if me losing my jigs is justifiable for the cost/fish catch ratio.

Will fluoro/mono weaken the more you stretch it...? I know everybody gets snagged/hungup occasionally and to get the lure out...we are always pulling and yanking as hard as we can. Does this weaken the line and if so...should you retie???
