Cody at Lake X with 38 lb limit of spots

“I’ll take the memory of that day to my grave,” said Jason Johnson, the day after he and Repel pro Cody Meyer put together a 38-pound limit of spotted bass. Little did he know that limit would turn out to be the “smaller” limit of spots just a couple of days later.

Hmm, looks like the world record won't last long in the Motherlode. What High Sierra lake is it?

There website says launching not permitted ?...& it looks like it has been recently updated with the water level & inflow data ?....what's the ramps condition ?..

I had heard that Mercury Marine had closed their secret test facility " Lake X " and moved testing to another location after operating at that site for decades . Now it's apparent why . All of the giant spotted bass swimming around in the lake must have been interfering with their performance testing .
