Curado 201B Screeching on cast

I have 3 of these reels that have served me well thru the years.Recently two have started screechin on the cast.Distance is limited.Any ideas why?

Clean and lube the break weight race inside the side plate (the brass ring). Use a Q tip with rubbing alcohol on one side to clean it and a few drops of oil on the other to lightly lube it.

You can also remove the spool shaft bearings, clean them with alcohol, and give them each one small drop of oil (no more).

Thanks for the help.I tried that,and they cast well in the backyard.I'll see how they work next week on the lake.
