Dual Frequency Transducer

Can I use a dual frequency transducer (200hz-50hz) with a head unit that only uses and can control a single frequency (200hz)?

A unit that uses a 200 khz ducer should work on a 50/200 khz ducer. You can't hurt it so try it and see.
