No exemptions for Lake Perris

Post by John Barron »

I've had a couple of people call and ask about the May 3rd tournament size and quantity limit. When we were applying for our DFW lake permits we were told there would be absolutely no exemptions for Perris and none were issued. The size limit is 15", no exemption. Two fish per angler, no exemption. They have no intention to issue any exemptions in the foreseeable future
Sorry and hope to see you there

John,
Is that two fish per angler, or per boat?

two per angler. If you are fishing solo then you can only weigh in two fish. If you are a team of two you can weigh in four fish.

There is also only one weigh in per team. You cannot weight 2 fish at 9 when your partner has to leave and then go out and bring 2 more in at 3. Once you weigh a fish, your event is over.

This is not a jab at anyone or any organization, we just want to clarify in advance so there is no gray area or misinterpretation of the rule.

Huge bags being caught daily! 30+ for 4 is a strong possibility!

I agree! Looking good for this Saturday's prefish regardless. I'm bringing the salmon net!
