Item 2 is a link to the National Wildlife Federation with a letter to your Senator determined by your zip code opposing Diane Feinstein's attempt to circumvent Endangered Species Act protection for our Delta and it's fisheries. Her actions are to benefit her Beverly Hills billionaire farmer friend, Stewart Resnick, at the expense of all Californians. It takes about 30 seconds to send this vital message. Please forward this on to everyone you know and ask them to send the letter and forward it on to everyone they know.

Endangered Species Act at Risk
Make Sure Your Senators Hear from You Today

Dear Justin,

The future of one of the nation's most important ecosystems is at risk.

U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein of California has announced plans to introduce an amendment that would restrict Endangered Species Act protections in the San Francisco Bay-Delta estuary.

This amendment would put salmon and many other endangered species at risk of extinction and set a dangerous precedent for other ecosystems throughout the country.

Please urge your senators to publicly oppose and vote against this destructive amendment.

Many endangered species are native to the Bay-Delta estuary, including the Chinook salmon and the delta smelt. If Feinstein's amendment passes, their water flows will be diverted and their populations will be further at risk.

Please speak up for the Endangered Species Act today.

Instead of undermining our nation's bedrock environmental laws, we should allow the processes in place to guide long-term solutions that restore and maintain the health of the environment on which wildlife and the health of our economy depend.

Sincerely,

Julia Marden
