first lunker punker
I just bought my first lunker punker. Anybody know any good spots to fish it from the shore. Im in oakley.

In Oakley you can try the new city Pier off of Big Break Road.
Some other spots that come to mind are at the Jesrey Island Bridge,
Marsh Creek its self on a walk down the trail from Kragens - and past the bridge where it turns. and The new bays on Bethel Island from the dock (you are tehnically tresspassing on the latter two).
Rock Slough at the end of Delta Road after you cross the bridge. Downtown Antioch on 2and street and the L street Marina at the mouth entrance. (Great place to toss hair razors and rattle traps)
Across the Antioch bridge there are spots on Sherman Island East Levee road, Hwy 160 for Horseshoe bend behind Decker Island. And Shernam Island West Levee rd. to the state park ramp.
Discovery Bay on the levee down from the Marina and behind the Harbor Condo's.

You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

empire cut near the pipes under a full moon tonight, whiskey slough, turner cut near the mouth between the houses and the san joaquin from holt rd to turner cut and yeah horseshoe bend is always full of stripers around now....they used to release all the fish trapped in the seines at the pumps right at the west end of horseshoe bend and the stripers were just like seagulls at at&t park when the game ends..not sure if they still do that
