Folsom Spawn

Is the a certain temperature range the the bass will start to spawn? Does the temperature range apply to all bodies of water that bass are in or is it different? Thanks

Typically when the water climbes above 60' in most parts of the country, including this area, the fish move onto beds. This is a "general" rule and some areas like Northern lakes may vary some. Don't overlook the importance of the moon, it can also be a critical factor. Current also influences the spawn and the "normal" water temps may vary in current. With the warm temps the last two weeks our entire area has fish moving from transition areas into shollow water. I expect to see some fish on beds this weekend but only the fish will tell. Good luck!!
