GEN 3 FREQUENCY HELP

hi got two questions which frequency do you use on your sonar 200 or high chirp and the other question which is the best 455 or 800 for down and side scan thanks for your help george

I am sure you will see benifits in all the freqs. and I tell all my customers to switch back and forth and also go side by side. I use H/wide CHIRP most all the time, even in the shallow river system.

I agree that you should experiment with your frequency use as the best changes with water and depth considerations. I generally use High or Medium Chirp. I also sometimes run 83 KHz and chirp at the same time to avoid crosstalk (unless I have sonar networked).

For downscan I generally use 800 and for sidescan I most always use 455 kHz.
