HDS 7 and 9 the clocks will not stay on correct time

Post by Duckman »

I set the time on console unit and it changes the time on bow unit by 1 hour and I correct the bow unit and it changes the clock on the console. I have checked the units to make sure the settings are on local not global, also when I change the time setting on the console and click save it will not save until I do it a second time, this happens every time?? I never had this problem until I added the second HDS to the bow. When I set the correct time and it saves it and I turn my unit off and turn it back on it is incorrect. This must be simple to fix it is driving my crazy. Thanks Darrel

I believe you have time set up wrong from the menu, like the offset is different on each MFD.
On the bow unit: Power>Settings>Time and leave this screen on.
On the console unit: Power>Settings>Time...now compare the two screens. Especially where it says OFFSET.

Hope this helps.

Make sure the daylight saving setting is the same on both units.
