When we moved our houseboat (41' Gibson Sport) to Texoma, we had installed the Structurescan Lss2 transducer, but noticed that the rudders from our V-Drives extend past the transom of the boat when it didn't work. Any suggestions for getting this moved to a better location while the boat is still in the water? It will cost about $300 to get it pulled on the lift so I'm fishing for alternatives we can just dive down and do. Any type of Extender plates you are aware of?
thanks,
Mitchell

The only thing I can think of is to go to a metal fabrication shop and get them to make an arm out of stainless steel the would extend the ducer behind the rudders.
