Post by bass_turds »

New Horizons Charity Pro-Am Bass Tourney UPDATE!
Thanks to a large sponsorship donation by LifeSource Water Systems the purse for the 2015 New Horizons tourney is approaching $15,000! This is turning out to be a better than ever tournament and that's pretty hard to do considering it's the 35th year of the event! Put it on your calendar to fish this event on April 11th. Your entry is tax deductible and goes to a great cause here in Lake Havasu! I listed the payouts and the sponsors for this years event below. You can pay online through paypal at newhorizonsproam.com or you can mail/drop-off your entry at New Horizons in Lake Havasu. This event consistently draws 70 boats and has drawn over 100 in the past. Our goal this year is to see us return to that 100+ boat field and with your help we can get there! We are currently over 40 boats prepaid.

Update: We got a donation for $500 to payout mystery weights! Meaning we will be paying 5 $100 mystery weight placings to those out of the placing money!

We are moving past 40 pre-signs! Just so there is no confusion this is a TEAM pro-am event. This event is NOT a draw. Two amateurs can fish together also! A lot of teams are made up of husbands and wives, fathers and sons, etc....Hope to see you there!

Havasu fishing April 11th! Are you kidding me? This is the best fishing all year. If you haven't heard of this event, you need to know about it. It's just not a local tournament. I fished this event about 10 years ago and there were 101 boats! The payouts are great, it has super raffles, goodie bags, and dinner at the meeting. You'll say hello to lots of friends and make new ones. The sponsors continue to step up to support this event and makes it super exciting day of fishing. New Horizons is a great charity and you deserve to be part of this fun day. If you only fish one event a year make it this one. Only $275 and includes big fish, dinner, goodie bags and more.
