I have an 04 Champion, 198 Elite. Nice boat and in good shape. I've been looking for a clean used 225hp motor but may sell the boat as is. The motor still runs but gives me problems too often. Where I live no one works on evinrude so it's been tough to figure out exactly what's wrong. I don't even know what to ask for it but if you're interested let me know and I'll figure that out and can send some pics. Oh and I put a new lower unit on it which sucks for me. Haha

I would like to see pictures and if you can put a price on it..im not a fan of enivrude myself ..but would really like a ranger but would condiser a champion if price is rite as a winter project ...

Ok sounds good. I'll take some pics tomorrow and post them. The motor ran good but the last year after having maintenance done it hasn't ran right. It only has 480 hours. I've had it to an evinrude dealer but they had troubles reading the computer. So I've made up my mind to either get a Mercury for it or get a new boat.
