Lowrance repair

Post by BMX Bassin »

I have a couple gen 1 & gen 2 HDS units. They have some glitches and need a tune up?
Is this possible? Where?
Thanks

Lowrance will not repair any unit that is over two years old. Thats why I use Humminbird now.

Try backing up your waypoints trails and routes to an SD. Reset to factory settings. Now update to latest firmware version.

Get them updated and a simple reboot. Mine were locking up and I did this and they were fine. Fishermans Warehouse in Sac will do it. Not sure where else to go. But they need to be updated from time to time.

When it comes to any kind of repairs Lowrance is useless. I was told they DO NOT repair. I had a unit go black on me. Under the warranty I paid $500. and I received a reconditioned unit. I asked them, I thought you didn't do repairs? Who reconditioned the unit? Still waiting for a reply
