Oregon Gun Law Question?

Just wondering if "assualt rifles" are legal in Oregon? I was thinking of ordering some parts (AK and Mini 14 stocks to be exact) and have them shipped to a buddy who lives there for xmas. I just didn't want to send him something if he wasn't supposed to have one. Any info would be great.
Don't ask about my username, all I need to say is check yours and check them often.

The stocks are legal in Cali-prolly some of the tougher gun laws 'round-Oregon is gonna be considerably more lax, so I say "Ship 'em!" Merry Christmas to your buddy! Which brings me to my next question.........what's some good ol' local pals gettin' for Christmas this year? :P Merry Christmas, Nut.
