QUIET AS IT IS KEPT, SOME REALLY GOOD FISH HAVE BEEN EATING GOOD THIS WEEK. THERE IS A GOOD DROPSHOT BITE LIKE DAMON STATED, BUT EVEN THE REACTION FISH HAVE STARTED TO SHOW AND THEY ARE GENEREALLY BIGGER FISH.
With rising lake levels and good weather, the FOLSOM BASS LEAGUE season continues with event number six this Sunday, February 25th. Check-in for this Sunday's event will be held in the friendly confines of Susie's Country Oaks Cafe on the corner of Folsom-Auburn Rd. & Douglas Blvd. beginning at 4:30 AM this Sunday. Blast off will be at first safe light out of the Granite Bay launch facility. Weigh-in for the first flight will begin at 3 PM with awards shortly after the last boat weighs in.
Remember that we're giving away an all-expense paid (less roundtrip airfare to Mazatlan and gratuities) to El Salto, Mexico for the biggest bass caught during the regular season. This is all courtesy of Hook Adventure Travel and Anglers Inn on Lake El Salto.
Entry forms can be found at C&C Marine on Auburn Blvd. in Citrus Heights, Troy's Outdoor Sports in West Sacramento and at the Rocklin Fisherman's Warehouse on Granite Dr. As always, blast off numbers are assigned by the order of paid entries recieved and there are no membership fees and never any late fees with the FOLSOM BASS LEAGUE.
You can find information, entry forms and rules packets by going to the FOLSOM BASS LEAGUE website at www.folsombassleague.com . There are links to all of the FBL sponsors, informative articles by some of California's top Pro's on catching Folsom Bass and results from our events. I along with my dedicated staff look forward to seeing everyone out there on this Sunday. See ya out there.
