WON BASS Shasta...Congrats Greg "G" JR!!!

Post by Jim Miller »

I've commented on father/son fishing combos on this thread in the past. On this past Saturday on Shasta while Greg "G" Sr. was away in the South fishing BASS, Greg Jr. was left to either fish WON Bass Team on Shasta alone or not fish at all. He chose to fish, and FISH he did and CATCH he did
ALONE and hauled in a 16+ limit (without dad in the boat, har, har.) with a 5+ spot "kicker" to his limit and took 1st place against the odds and many other compident teams on the lake. Looks like all that "bass learnin" you gave Greg Jr. Mr "G" is surfacing!! I'm sure Bobbi, Greg's wife has to be the proudest of the family as she was there to see
her son take the number one bag to the scales!! My
personal congrats to the entire Guitterz family..and way to go dad on the BASS circuit..you're doin' Calif. real proud!!! Regards, Jim Miller.

It is about time you dumped that handicap you have been fishing with up there. Great Job Gregory and I am sure your dad was just a bit excited about that one. Look out "Double G"

Big G (is that an oxymoron?) is on the bubble to make the Classic. The top 35 from last years tour made it and he is 31 this year. Best of luck Greg. E

Outstanding!

The fact he was fishing solo makes it even more impressive. It won't be long until I can add JR to my fantasy leage team along with dad in BASS.

Wasn't it a few years ago we were pitching in to get JR along with Tony B. kids to the Bassmaster Casting Kids event they qualified for back east.
