I like the flat rubber , If any body has any send me a PM. Ill take all you got . Brown , Black , purple , blue , Dark green . Between the round rubber or silicone my choice would be the silicone .

rubber. And yes there is some flat rubber around just no brown. And no don't bother asking me for any.

yeah, i think your losing sales by not having a fine flat rubber. I dont fish a jig much but when i do its always the flat rubber over the poofball things they make now. A nice, thin, limp rubber, not the the spike ball, puffer fish looking things out. But, what do i know?

Flat rubber was much too expensive to make the only company that made it quit making it 4 years ago. Certain people got together and re tooled the factory which took a year too do. Mixing the round rubber with silicone seems to produce just as well as the flat rubber. With the addition of sil just adds that much more color varation. I'm just amazed at what really sells a jig now ah days and its sure as hell not there action.

Most action in a jig is done by the person useing it. The angler imparts most of the action.

Yes Ray the angler does impart alot of action but the type of material that is used makes the jig open on the bottom & the skirts move differently none of which can be affected by the angler get it!!!!

ha ha, I dug into my old jig making box and found miles of flat brown, black, purple and red !

I use carpet thread. I'll try a "puffball" Is that a full width, 3.5 inches long each of brown and purple? Tied REAL tight?
