FREE TACKLE

Post by Tony Lain »

If you could get one type of fishing item such as a favorite lure, worm, jig, hook, whatever, FREE, for the rest of your life what would it be?? A life time supply of what??

That's a hard question, but for any item I would pick tungsten weights. If I could have that them I would want 1/2 oz willow leaf spinnerbaits.

Yeah... Loomis rods, Daiwa reels, braid and flourocarbon, those would be my first choices.

Swimbaits would be second, as I'd love to be able to throw them with a thoroughly cavalier attitude!

WHY - is someone offering??? It IS my birthday, as a matter of fact!

Line Line Line.......

Post by Pete Marino »

I go through a ton of line, thank god for my Maxima sponsor. It saves me ALOT of money to get my line for free.

I change the line on my reels every two trips out on the water..

My next pick would be Gamakatsu Hooks...I wish I had a life time supply of them... Or at least have them as a sponsor.

Free Mcspins.
Oh that's right I know the guy who makes them. No, I would choose Crankbaits. I love to catch fish on Crankbaits.

You wouldn't lose so many if you weren't always throwing those things in the junk pile

I would have to say that I would like a lifetime supple of 7.5" black grape ribbon tails from lifelike plastics being that I only have about eight left and it doesn't look like I'll be getting anymore.
How the hell do you know what junkpile I lose all my jigs in :o You must lose em there too. That Junkpile probably looks like a x-mas tree with all the jigs I've donated. I've got some life like black grape ribbon tails, that you are looking for. Also some black w/ red vein. Too bad Kenny is MIA.

The green old style Curados are the best reel for the money in my opinion. I love those reels.. I dont like the new Curados.
I have 8 of them and wish I had 16.
They are my favorite reels by far...

It would definitely have to be 3/4 and 1oz. footbal jig heads, 15Lb. Flourocarbon leader spools, and unlimited 5" Yamamoto Double Tail Hula Grubs......This is the rig I lose the most...LOL
