COUTURE vs LESNAR

What? lol I haven't had the time lately to pay attention to MMA like I have been in the past.

Shouldn't Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira get the next title shot over Lesnar?

This just don't make sense... Antonio has the interim title so why does lesner get it with a 1-1 Octagon record? Yea both of lesner fights were against good fighters, despite the 1 mistake he make against Frank and the win over heath (which he hasn't been doing so good in the octagon) he dominated both of them.

I guess my questions here is Randy has 1 more fight in UFC then his contract is over and hes going to fight Fedor in affliction. So it doesn't really matter so much if randy loses besides reputation? Whats going to happen if (or should I say when

) randy wins and he finished his contract fights with the UFC and he leaves? Is Antonio just going to take over the title or will he face the next rank fighter or what?

he will face whoever will produce the best ratings. That is what this has turned into.

Couture extended his fight deal with UFC to three fights.

Wow... This might not be that bad of a fight though if you ask me... I just really don't want to see Brock win this one... Then all the fake WWE guys come to the UFC!

Here is the story of how this fight came to be.

Couture left the UFC and was in legal battles trying to get out of his contract. He was still considered the champ.

Meanwhile, Big Nog and Tim Sylvia fought for the interim title. Nog wins and is the interim Champ.

Frank Mir and Brock Lesnar fight and Mir wins.

Mir is then asked to be a coach along with big nog on the new season of The Ultimate Fighter. With the two fighting for Nog's interim title when the show ends.

AFTER the show had been filmed, Couture gets tired of waiting for all the legal crap to be over and decided that he would just re-sign with the UFC under a new contract. All the while he is still the Champ.

So for his fitrst fight back they give him Lesnar. The winner of this fight will fight the winner of Nog and Mir. Leaving one guy as the champ.

With that said. I have Lesnar beating Randy and facing the winner of Mir and Nog, which most likely will be Nog. Lesnar is a scary human being I must say. A man his size shouldn't move as fast as he does. It is just plain freaky.

Brock has a very impressive REAL wresting background. He's not like most of the roided up WWE guys. He is for real. The guy has tons of talent.

Yea I know. I'm not trying to put him down or anything. He is a amazing wrestler and has been training MMA for 4 years now. He did have a impressive fight against Frank and just made 1 little mistake that cost him the L.

Now in all truth I think he will beat Randy and hold the title for a good amount of time. I'm not saying I am a Brock fan. 1 of my favorite fighters is randy but I have to say don't be shocked when Brock wins this fight...

There I said it, its over!

Randy is the man for sure. I just don't think he will have much luck with Lesnar. The guy is just a giant and he is a very good wrestler. Randy's biggest asset is his wrestling and I don't think he can do anything with Brock. He;s just going to be too big and strong. Years ago, Couture was losing to the likes of Josh Barnett and Ricco Rodriguez, guys that simply outmuscled him. Now he's 45 and facing the biggest strongest guy he's ever laid hands on. I just can't imagine Couture winning unless Brock for some reason can't take a punch, which I doubt. Never seen a man with such a big head and neck not be able to absorb some good shots.

I do have to say the only way Randy could win is if he keeps it standing up and avoids the take downs... Watching the past 2 fights Brock had in the UFC you can see Randy can out strike him but there is no way Randy can over power him on the ground. Unless he puts some Jujitsu to work which is very possible.

But we shall see!

Randy is one hell of a wrestler also.

Experience will win this fight, Randy wins pretty easily.
