Congrats to the Angels....

Post by StockOption »

Congrats on the Angel's ALDS win.

Without question the Angels were certainly due to dominate the Red Sox in postseason play - that is for sure. And dominate they did, in every aspect of the game. They beat our starters, they shut down our offense and they beat our vaunted closer. Nicely done, this year the Angels were clearly the better team, better by a longshot.

So congrats on your ALDS win. Best of luck against the Yankees I will be rooting for the Angels from here on out. I sincerly hope you dominate and pummel the Yankees (sorry Mike!!).

Go Angels !!!!!

How can you not root against the Yankees? Who wants to see Georgie buy a championship? No one likes to see that.

The Yankees will lose and poor georgie will fire someone to point the finger somewhere when realistically he doesnt know how to assemble a group of winners. The whole reason people go to NY is to get PAID. They acquire a bunch of ME guys, not a core group of guys working for a common goal. They are all about paychecks and personal stats just ask A rod.

Stock, it's all good. Yankees will be doing the pummel'n. Hey
no matter what, I love it when the Yankees and RedSox lock
horns. As a matter of fact if these Angles played in the big
boy division day in and day out they would really get their
brains beat out.

John stop it with the $$$$$$thang. You played ball, you mean
to tell me you wouldn't want an owner that paid his men
and would go the extra mile to get some reinforcement when
needed. Hey in New York it's all about winning. That's why
alot of guy's can't play'n in the real pressure cooker.

We where going to let your guys hang around for 6 but if
you don't stop with bs it will be 5 or less.

Sure wish Halo's could borrow Papelblown for a few days.

Thanks Kurt! It was the Angels year to finally get past the Red Sox.. The only reason I wont say anything about a sweep against NY is I think the Yankees will get lucky at least once

The money thing is whats comical. He spends waaaaay more than any other club and he hasnt done anything of any value lately. Look at the Tampa Bay Rays, they played tough and have a fraction of the payroll the Yankees have. If the Yankees played to there potential they would win every single season. They have all the big free agent bats and arms and cant put squat together. They do not know how to play together as a team and when it boils down to flat out wanting it, they really dont care because they are all sitting on so much loot they could care less. That's not what team sports is about. Its all about unity and the ability to put your own achievements aside to work for a common goal. The Yankees do not have it.

Angels all the way. This is our year. Sorry guys.

Its funny you bring up the AL West vs AL East thing. I will prove to you how wrong you are. G man already pointed out that the Halos were 29- 17 against the AL East. That is a winning record. I decided to do a little more research.

AL West vs. AL East

Angels - W29 - L17
Texas - W26 - L20
Seattle - W21 - L19
Oakland - W21- L23

In case you dont feel like adding that up, that comes out to a record of W97 - L79.

The AL West is 18 games over .500 against the AL East.

I dont know what they are putting in your drinks at the Skybox, but that is getting smoked my friend. So long are the days of the big bad AL East.
Create your own luck.
