I take my hat off to AJ Burnett as his stuff was nasty. The Phillies were off balance all night and when they had key AB's they couldnt get the hits... That curve was on...
Pedro made em work but two homers was too much for the Phillies to comeback on tonite.
Game 3 should be great as well.
Go phillies...

Kevin, just like last nite Yankees didn't have a chance against
Cliff. And Phillies didn't have much of a chance against AJ to-
nite.
In the playoffs pitching is king.

MLB has to take a serious look at instant replay, I can't re-
member so many SHI%^Y blown calls against all the teams
in the playoffs this year.
Surely these umps aren't gamblers like that round ball ref Tim
what ever his last name was.

In my opionon this was a must win against this tough a$$
Phillie team.

Come on Saturday
1st Won Teams of the 2010 in the yr here at Havasu then
game 3 in the evening, ya baby!

His stuff was so nasty he made Ryan Howard look bad in all his AB's...
Yeah, Damn Blues... Even behind the plate they sometimes take the bat out of the hand of the hitter when they allow the pitcher get a head on a ball. Sometimes the blues get fooled like the hitter. I honestly think all PRO sports have gotten much more quicker and things happen faster now. Athletes are bigger, stronger and faster.
I love Baseball and these are the two best teams giving us a great Series.

Kevin, man Ryan Howard is one scarry mofo. This guy looks
like he's ready to rip someone's ears out of their knogan. One
great hitter, but anyone can look stupid when blue is
callin strikes 6" off the outside black.

A-Rod is stink'n also in the 1st 2 games, after carry'n the boys
against the Twins and Halo's. 0 for 8-6k's

the umps are on the take.. a few bad calls in crucial spots.. smells like cheese...thought Pedro pitched well in the loss.. takes some iron nad to go in there and hold that lineup down as well as he did with the stuff that he has.. Mariano R. was great as well with mental toughness after slippin up.. good series so far, but the umps have all been horrible since the playoffs started and the color commentary has been below avg. I turn the volume off and enjoy it better that way

For me, it was bizzaro world seeing Pedro pitch last night. He definitely had some GREAT stuff, lots of swinging strikeouts. He pitched good enough to win, but Burnett was much better and earned the W.

Amen! I have been calling sports bars around here finding out which ones dont have the game in sound!!

Bombers rally after being down 3 runs and Cole looking
tuff after 3 innings.
A-Rod gets the party started with another clutch homer.
Finally Swisher gets going with a 2 bagger then a blast.
Hugh pinch hit homer for Matsui, and the bullpin looked
real good, Mo time in the 9th.

Great come from behind win for my team.
Yankees have beat up Blanton in the past, CC time tomorrow.

In my perfect world tomorrow, Packers kick Vikings &
Favre's arse's then CC deals and Bombers crush the
baseball for a giant win.

Missed both games 3 and 4 on TV but caught some on the radio and Jon Miller and Joe Morgan are AWESOME I think.
Anyways the Phillies have their work cut out for them.
I think the bullpen will decide it like it has, and that's not good for my Phillies. Yankees have been clutch at the plate.
Yankees have just played better.
