Clear Lake Bass Elite Prediction

Post by basstrophy »

With this warming trend this week as predicted at Clear Lake the bite should be spectacular. Swarms of bass are going to be moving into the shallows and we should see some massive weights this week from the Bass Elite group. It’s going to be a “donkeyâ€

Skeet has a score to settle and Ike is going to fish crazy good this year.

The weather looks like it is going to play right into their hands for a 100lb + event.

I think Skeet will do well and I really think that the top three will be flippin. It is prime time for the big girls to be on the move and if someone gets on em, stays put and lets new fish move into the area they are fishing it could be a new record.
You got some of the old timers who did well last week and have some confidence in fishing out here! We just may see a Kline, Grisgby, Clunn or Brauer take the cake.
Skeet will be in the top five!

The fish were up as shallow as 3 feet on Saturday and with frost on the cartops on Sunday morning they moved back 6 to 9 feet. I am talking about water close to traditional bedding areas. The best fishing on Saturday seemed to be up hill and on sunday it seemed better down hill.
I got the impression that they were staging but am bever certain about any thing relating to bass.
I wish I had bass figured out as good as I have figured out women
