Rod sleeves / jackets / socks

Post by Jeff Miller »

I am looking for a way to keep my rods untangled and protected during transport to and from, and while on the water. The only thing I see on the market are the Bass Pro Shop Rod Socks, which only go to seven feet, and the Stick Jacket Rod Sleeves which are also limited by length.( Not to mention they look like a nightmare where treble hooks are concerned ! ) I know Falcon makes a rod sleeve, but again, only up to seven feet.

So what are the other options on the market ? And does anyone make rod sleeves for 7' and longer rods ? What are all the swimbait guys using to protect their rods ?

Any info would be appreciated !

Berserkbaits makes a good rod sleeve that accomodates rods well over 7 feet and has a hard tip protector. ill give you one to try out...I have at least 8.

Our rod sleeves can be as customized as you want them. Just a matter of how much you want to put into them. They come with a 6" or 12" tip protector. Lifetime warranty and made here locally.

You definately won't be disappointed with the berserk sleeves. I completely took out my rod organizer and strickly use the sleeves, absolutely no problems with rods getting tangled. I have got quite a few buddies to switch over as well and they love em.

www.TheRodGlove.com . I love these things, and in fact, I switched from Stick Jackets to them. Neat little add on is that you can get anything you want printed on them. Be it your name, your rod sponsor, or whatever else you'd like. Check them out.
