Lake Piru Night Tournaments

Post by pancho163 »

Im reaching out to all the So Cal guys that fish our local lakes. Lake Piru is a sleepy little gem and she shines pretty good at night.
There are a couple of opportunities to fish this lake at night on Friday September 24th and Saturday October 23rd.
Of course these are both public tournaments with a $50 entry fee per boat.
Please give it some thought we need a good registration count in order for the tournament to be held.
You can make reservations at (805) 521-1500 ext 500.
Thanks,
Kent Simmons

Will be there for both events... not to sure if the Pud is better than Piru... been to both for several night tourneys and gotta say Piru just plain gave em' up. I fish there alot more than the Pud so maybe that's why...

Whatever, I hope to see you there also MCSPIN... I'm sure you'll have a good time...!!! :D ChrisR

My buddy and I plan to be there as a team. As JeffJ asked, what would be the hours of the tournament? Also, is there an off limits?
Fishing is not a matter of life or death.
It's more serious than that!

Please come out to this event. Piru at night always gives up plenty of 5+ lbers and the occasional 8 or 9 lbers show up as well.
Here is a link with more info.
