Mark makes some fine baits. Been tweaking on them for a wile now haven't you. It is a lot of fun, and most satisfying when you stick a fish on your own bait, or better yet someone else catches the fish of their life on one you made. I to have been making baits for years and have caught plenty on them. It's an addiction.....

Here are just a few of the baits I have made or designed.

i've been making my own cranks and swimbaits for several years now.an addictive and frustrating hobby....but very rewarding....my baits are shaped from poplar, basswood or cedar.....then airbrushed and sealed....some work great and are productive...others are, well what can i say....wallhangers LOL!!
here is a pic of some of them (those of you that frequent TU might recognize the pic) Image

pigskin,
I imported the image from the TackleUnderground gallery. I'm pretty computer illiterate, so I don't know how to make the image bigger. If my 15 year old is willing to help, I'll try to get a bigger version posted.

Billy,

Billy, whats the story on that striper killer, is it for sale, length, weight?

In the garage pic some of those baits look like Halibuts....

Hey Pigskin........some of the larger glider/punker style are good for stripers ......i use them primarily at the delta or at San Luis Reservoir/Forebay....have on occasion tried them in the surf without success.....thanks for the comments. surfk9
