Looking for some plastic hand pour recommendations......

Post by Cooch »

so a long time buddy of mine and I were talking about custom hand poured plastics and how much we, as well as a whole bunch of notable folks round here, used to use and relied on our ole buddy Conroy Oakley's CO Plastic baits. Conroy had this amazing nack for pouring the softest plastic worms you'd ever seen, but he also introduced to us some very unique color patterns not found from those we see on the tackle shelves of the custom pourers today.

So we're looking for a couple of guys to contact, who you'd recommend that are pouring custom plastics, and would be willing to work with us in getting some of these old color patterns and baits poured again. We can do searches and come up with a lot of names and mom and pop shops, but we'd rather get some input from you folks here on what you use and whom you'd recommend to us!

Thanks guys and appreciate all yer input!

Cooch;
We have tried to give our customers great colors along with quality service.

We are by no means experts on all the color formulas. We do try to give a fair estimate, if we can do something you will know it up front.
D&M Custom Baits will not waste your time trying to match colors that are not in our files already.

Contact Ed Clarke @ Tackle It in Lakeport, Maverick Worms does an excellent job with hand pours and custom matches as well. I have seen and used the best for years from Smittys to Iovino Keeper Pro and C.O. Honestly I throw Iovinos, Robo and Zoom mostly but know Maverick can make you a fine product, Maverick has a good history too and was started by a true all around sportsman and bass fisherman , lure innovator, Ron Sneed from Lakeport Ca. who is still involved in consulting and mold making.
the best way to catch a big one is don't lose um sharp hooks set drag retie!

Contact John Cassidy at Angler's Arsenal. I know he's poured some pretty good matches to old plastics that I wanted.
