Does anyone know what this update does or adds to the unit? I have looked around on the Humminbird website and cant seem to locate anything. Thanks in advance

Goto the humminbird site and register your unit. When you register your unit it shows you what the update does..

Thanks for the response Mike. I have already registered my humminbird but this update does not give a description of what it does. I have updated before and I know were you are talking about but it doesn't give an explanation for this one.

Weird, I just looked myself and it didn't give a description to me either. You can call bird and ask them direct. Be sure to call early as Monday is a high traffic day for them being directly after the weekend. They are on central time.
