Is there anyway to change the gear ratio on core 101mg into something around 5:1? Wondering if the aldebara gears would fit? would like to purchase another reel and make it lower for crank

We do not offer any left hand 5:1 reels that share tooling with the Core. So you are stuck with 6.2:1 or 7:1 options.
