San Luis for the first time

Post by JRK »

Hello anglers!

I'm making my first trip out to San Luis Reservoir and was hoping to get a little info. I'm not looking for you secret spots or baits but I was hoping to get an idea of where to start and what lures work well out there. Oh, I will be fishing from the shore too.

Thanks everyone!

Some people were telling me romeo point but i dont even know where thats at but my cousin was telling me by the dam. Its like an hit and miss thing one day youll catch nothing and one day youll catch a couple with some 20 plus pounders from the bank using flukes and jerkbaits.
