When you get to the El Cajon Ford homepage, scroll down to sponsored events.
That will put you on too the Team Open Day 1 Results.
Cameron Smith and Matt Peters won the first day El Capitan leg of the tournament with a 26.57lb limit. Their big bass went 9.89lbs.
In 2003 Clayton Meyers and Steve Bolivar weighed in the heaviest two day limit in the 13 years this tournament has been talking place, 38.64lbs. Cameron and Matt stand a good chance of smashing that record.
Emil Orlando and Joe Crawford took the honors on Lake Otay with a 14.36lb limit.
Despite Smith and Peters phenomenal catch, with the way the tournament is formatted, they are tried for first place after the first day of fishing with Orlando and Crawford from Lake Otay.
The awards ceremony will take place starting around 3pm today at Landre's Sports Bar in Santee. Landre's is located right across from COSTCO on Towne Center Dr.
