Just discovered this boat ramp and its very close to my home. Thinking about trying for stripers there but havent a clue if they come through, hang out, or are even there at all.

Any help would be awesome. What should i use as bait? I like to use artificial but will cerainly use live bait as well.

try top water ( spooks ) in the morn and toward the eveaving.......good luck................

John, congrats on the boat. great wife. not many stripers in the river now as the migrate in the spring to spawn than leave. when they release the baby steehead they turn on again. be carefull in the river as you learn it. havent used that ramp in a long time but they use to have trouble with vandalism.

Thanks Dan! And I appreciate the look out. Are you still fishing in the club??? I didnt see you at Scotts Flat. I am going to have to take some time off for sure. Cant afford it all right now. Which stinks cuz Id love to use my boat. Oh well. See ya around!
