Doug,
I have a console mounted 997 on my '08 Ranger with a transom mounted SI transducer.
The boat came with a shoot thru the hull transducer mounted in the rear bilge area.
Can I use the Y cable system to hook up the thru the hull transducer to get images at speed, since the SI transducer only reads up to 7mph+-?

If the Shoot Thru Hull is a Humminbird Transducer like a XP 9 20 or XP 9 20 T the AS SI DB Y Cable will work to get all speed 2D readings for you.

Thanks.
I'll check with Anglers to see what brand of transducer it is.
