WON BASS SoCal Castaic Results 1/21

Rain, then calm beautiful blue sky's, then a touch of wind greeted the WON BASS SoCal teams at the 2012 season opener at Castaic Lake 1/21. Bill Siemantel used the nasty weather to his advantage and won the event with a 19.99 bag on a swimbait. Veteran team Bobby and Billy Nelson fished jigs on steep walls and cuts to capture a beautiful limit weighing 14.01 and gather 2nd place. Mike Reese and Tony Capparelli kept there hot streak going with a solid limit of bass weighing 13.11 and finished 3rd. Big bass of the tournament was 4.85 pounds and was caught by the team of Kevin Johnson and Jerry Ballesteros, Jerry caught the bass on a Osprey R Mac swimbait.
