But as of today only have 5-6 boats committed. He needs our help. If you are available on the Saturday, March 31st; the weekend of the FLW tournament. Please call or write Troy at 270.252.1000 or thollowell@flwoutdoors.com

Did you email me or Troy? I ask because I didn't get an email. Regardless, it's best to contact Troy at 270.252.1000 or thollowell@flwoutdoors.com. He's also available on Facebook under Troy Hollowell

Sound's like fun but I have never been on the Delta and with my luck I would get them lost. Hope you get enough.

Actually you don't need to know the Delta. In fact, it is the college kids responsibility to tell you where they want to fish. So ... you may learn some new fishing spots from these kids!

i'm in Chris, i'll use my partners boat a nitro since i've disabled
my live wells. this looks like fun plus i've found out that the
tournament out there friday will only have the top 10 fishing.
so 40 teams and the top 10 from the tournament. so there
shouldn't be a problem parking. see you there.
i'll contact others in my list to see how many i can get in.

I've done it at Folsom & it was actually pretty fun. I was going to do it for the Delta but I couldn't get the time off. Unfortunately, with my schedule, if I couldn't get both days off (Fri & Sat) it just wouldn't work. :(

Whoops! My bad, I volunteered for the High School FLW the next day. Anyway, I'm sure they can both use all the people they can get.

I spoke to Troy on the phone and he confirmed. Others have had email exchanges for confirmation ... I would recommend that if you have not talked to Troy, call him.

As of yesterday (Monday) morning, I learned that they can still use a few more boats. If you are interested in being a "chauffeur" call Troy @ 270-252-1000 or his cell 502-517-6897.

LW College series: California Delta

FLW pays volunteers $250 for their expenses (gas & oil, etc.)
Volunteers to use your own boats
Saturday March 31st, 2012
6:30 AM Pre-tournament Meeting; so plan to arrive 6AM or before
Please launch boat before the pre-tournament meeting
7:00 AM takeoff
1:30 PM weigh-in
Takeoff and Weigh-in: Russo’s Marina
1 team in your boat (you plus 2 anglers)
Volunteers are basically a chauffeur
Volunteers run the big motor and is the captain of your boat
Volunteers can not fish nor net fish
College anglers run trolling motor and determine fishing spots
College anglers may not obtain GPS coordinates, fishing locations or specific bait information
College team is required to bring own tackle & PFD’s (do not have to clean boat out)

FLW Outdoors provides: net, measuring board & Rejuvenade.
