They are eating bluegills for sure..
I was out fishing the delta yeasterday and seen this bass floating in the water. It looked to have been dead for a day or two. It looked like it had a lure in it's mouth but when I picked it up I found a bluegill stuck in its mouth and it was still alive.
Mother Nature at work I guess..

Wow nice find! Also great proof that bass strike at the head first! Did either fish live?

While the bass looks big, that picture of it on the board makes it look like it's less than 12"...Jonnysig wrote:

Har har har.. I still get out once in a while and when Ol Cuccia said there was a jig bite, It's time to go. Nothing finer that spring time fishing in the delta..
