Bad news for us all Darlene Iovino/Larry Howard
Bad news for us all Darlene Iovino/Larry Howard
Both Darlene and Larry passed away yesterday. Darlene was married to Don Iovino and had had been real sick for over 2 years with cancer.
Larry Howard was married to Pat Howard and they were the previous owners of Phenix rods . She also worked with me at the WON BASS Pro tournaments.
What a sad Memorial Day for her and all of us. Our theoughts and prayers are with Don and my best friend Pat.

I had heard about Darlene but not Larry.....that is sad and a huge loss of the folks that did so much for fishing. My thoughts and prayers to Pat Howard she is such a sweet person. Thanks for posting Bev!

Bad news for sure. I posted on another link about Larry. I had some good laughs with him and Pat. Even stayed at their home a couple of times. GREAT PEOPLE.

My prayers go out to Pat, she and Bev.,they were our babysitters for the WON Bass tour for ever, and what can I say about the "Godfather", great guy, it's been a long battle , my prayers are with you both .
Re: Bad news for us all Darlene Iovino/Larry Howard
Darlene was a old friend, and old friends are the best. I am talking 32 years. She will be missed by many many people beside her family. Don stayed and took care of her, he deserved much credit, for his faithful caring of Darlene. Never got to know Larry Howard as much as I would have liked too. But what I know is Pat Howard and she is a Jewel so Larry must be the same. We are losing our buddies fast and that is the life is. We need to be ready because we do not know the day the year or the hour, but it is coming. God Bless the families. Fred Ward and Lana Ward
